GEM
Links
Unfortunately, this page is a lot shorter than it used to be - GEM sites are disappearing off the Internet these days. If you happen to have a link you'd like to see added to the list, though, please contact me.
Unofficial CP/M Web site/GEM World
The Unofficial CP/M Web site is a Caldera-authorised site for all of Digital Research's old software, including GEM applications. The original site was taken offline some time ago, but it is currently available on Gene Buckle's mirror site.
Deltasoft/Ben A. L. Jemmett's GEM Web Site
Deltasoft is the GEM development centre. It contains updates, news and downloads about GEM and FreeGEM development. You can reach it at www.deltasoft.com.
John Elliott's GEM pages
John Elliott has a collection of pages on older computers and operating systems, including a section on GEM and ViewMAX. Check it out here. Alternatively, you can reach John's home page here.
Dylan Harris's GEM pages
Dylan Harris has some GEM downloads and documentation at his site, http://www.dylanharris.org/prose/gem/intro.html, including a set of routines to simplify GEM programming and a kit by Digital Research to help port GEM to other architecures.
Digital Research's GEM
This page has some information on GEM and its history, as well as some application descriptions and downloads. It was located on GeoCities, so the original site is no more, but you can find a mirror here.
Heinz Rath's GEM software
Heinz has a working version of ViewMAX/3, a VESA-compatible 800x600x16 screen driver, a simple web browser for FreeGEM, Sound Blaster drivers for GEM, GDScript, and a version of FreeDOS customised to integrate with FreeGEM. His site was also hosted on GeoCities, but can be found here.
