GEM Collection CD-ROM

I am planning on creating a GEM Collection CD-ROM. This will contain loads of information, files, and web site mirrors about GEM, all available from one CD. Web sites that will be included include:

• The Mouse Nest (Eathan Clark)

• John Elliott's GEM pages (John Elliott)
• Shane Land OpenGEM (Shane Coughlan)
• And no doubt others that I've forgotten...

This covers pretty much a huge amount of GEM material. If you have something you would like to see on the CD, e-mail me.

The CD will cost about £5, to cost production costs and the time I put in to creating it (it takes a while to download all this material on a 56K modem that connects at 31.2K...). More details when I have them.

UPDATE (16/12/2001): Not a lot has happened with the GEM Collection CD since May 2001, when my hard disk died. However, I will start collecting these materials again soon, and hopefully this CD will be released during 2002 sometime.

UPDATE (02/01/2003): Then again, maybe not... I just haven't had the time to get everything ready.

UPDATE (14/12/2003): I may well resurrect this project sometime, if only to preserve the sites that are left. A number of the aformentioned sites are gone, possibly forever. :(

UPDATE (15/06/2007): Well, while I may not do the CD project, I may mirror the few remaining GEM sites just to keep them alive.
