File3D is a small utility I wrote many years ago to make File Manager's dialogs 3D. File3D runs under Windows 3.1 and higher, and also on Windows NT 3.x (although I've only been able to test Windows NT 3.51).
Version 1.2 was released on the 2nd December 2012, the first update since 2000, and includes installer improvements, significant code cleanup, and some optimisations, as well as the release of the Windows NT 3.51 version.
With File3D installed
- Download File3D 1.2 for Windows 3.1/3.11, Windows for Workgroups 3.1/3.11 (425KB)
- Download File3D 1.2 for Windows NT 3.51 (288KB)
For the Windows version, simply unzip the archive and then run the SETUP.EXE program. For the Windows NT version, run the file3d-1.2-nt351.exe installer directly.
NOTE: The Windows 3.x installer includes the Microsoft Y2K patches for File Manager, as well as patches to make File3D work correctly. These are available for Windows 3.1/3.11 and Windows for Workgroups 3.11 only. You can choose not to install the patches if desired during Setup.
